Will Christina Aguilera show off her baby bump at the Emmys?
Quite possibly.
I hear that the pregnant pop star—she is reportedly due in December with her and hubby Jordan Bratman’s first baby—is going to perform during the Emmys on Sept. 16.
I’m told Aguilera, 26, will join legendary vocalist Tony Bennett, 81, for a duet of “Steppin’ Out with My Baby.” The two sang the Irving Berlin classic from the 1948 movie Easter Parade in November on the NBC special Tony Bennett: An American Classic.
Director Rob Marshall and choreographer John DeLuca are up for an Emmy for Outstanding Choreography for their work on the special, which also featured Barbra Streisand, Elton John, k.d. lang, Stevie Wonder and Michael Bublé. Reps for Aguilera and the Emmys said they could not confirm Aguilera’s performance at the awards show.
The singer recently canceled the last four dates of her Back to Basics tour in Australia and New Zealand because she was suffering from a flu.
