Gaga gets restraining order against death-wish fan
Lady Gaga has been granted a restraining order against an obsessed stalker who reportedly wants to kill them both. The Poker Face singer apparently received a letter from Russian student Anastasia Obukhova, 26, who lives in New York, saying she wanted to 'die together' with Gaga.
Obukhova even boasted about once being 'within a metre' of the singer, prompting her to take legal action, The Sun reports.
The letter, intercepted by Gaga's management, says, "You come to my dreams. I want to die and I want to die together with you."
The stalker goes on to say that unlike Mark Chapman, who murdered John Lennon outside his apartment in 1980, she wouldn't just kill Gaga. "I am not Mark Chapman. It is not only you who will die. I will shoot a bullet through my head too."
A source close to the 24-year-old singer said security has been hiked up now that Gaga is on tour, although Obukhova is now banned from coming within 500 yards of her.
"Security is always tight around her but even more so now she's on tour. Her team won't take any chances," the source said.
