LADY GAGA is helping revive the popularity of Polaroid instant cameras by inventing new products for the famed company. In October (09), bosses at the photography firm announced plans to bring back their classic cameras after discontinuing production in 2008.
And now the Paparazzi hitmaker is adding inventor to her resume - after signing up to create a new range of items for the brand.
She says, "I am so proud to announce my new partnership with Polaroid as the creative director and inventor of speciality projects. The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation - blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era - and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand.
"Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and to - as my father puts it - finally have a real job."
Lady Gaga will officially unveil the partnership with an appearance at the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas on Thursday (07Jan09).
