LADY GAGA has apologised to fans after she was forced to reschedule concerts in Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois to shift them to larger venues.
The Poker Face singer was due to take her Monster Ball Tour to both cities but the gigs were moved to more expansive stages to accommodate her large-scale production.
Ticketholders were given the option to accept a refund or enter into a presale for the new shows - and many fans were furious after losing their seats.
Lady Gaga has now taken to the internet to beg her fans' forgiveness, insisting the move was not financially motivated. In posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "To my little monsters, I am so sick over the 2 venues that were moved for Monster Ball, and am sincerely sorry to all my fans who lost seats.
"A serious error was made by my production staff, and it is so unfair to you, who are so loyal. My show was not designed to fit in this venue.
"The Monster Ball was moved so we could still perform, not to sell more tickets. I promise to make it up to you, you are everything to me."
