PEAS, SWIFT, GAGA & BEYONCE ARE EARLY TRIPLE GRAMMY THREATS
Christmas came early for the BLACK EYED PEAS, TAYLOR SWIFT, LADY GAGA and BEYONCE on Wednesday night (02Dec09) when they each received three major Grammy Awards nominations at the 2010 event's big reveal in Los Angeles.
Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Swift will fight for the Song of the Year prize in January (10), while the Black Eyed Peas, who opened the Grammy Nominations Concert at the Nokia Theatre, will join the ladies to compete for both Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
Dave Matthews Band and Kings of Leon scooped two nominations as the leading eight awards categories were announced - DMB will fight for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album honours, while Use Somebody landed Kings of Leon nods in the Song of the Year and Record of the Year categories.
The Grammy Awards ceremony will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 31 January (10).
