Lady GaGa now has Jason Derulo as a main opening act during the remaining dates of her 'Monster Ball' tour.
Kid Cudi confirms that he has withdrawn his opening gig at Lady GaGa's on-going "Monster Ball" tour earlier than it was expected. His exit is made because he wants "to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitment."
"Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January," it was further stated on a statement issued by his camp. Though it has been explained that the exit is due to scheduling conflicts, rumors suggest the Vancouver incident which saw Cudi punching a fan during a concert also plays a role in his departure.
Following Cudi's exit from the roadshow, Jason Derulo who was originally a 20-minute filler during the opening slot will be filling in his shoes. "Just found out that I'm not opening 4 GAGA anymore, I'm now the MAIN SUPPORTER!!! Get Ready!!!" Derulo tweeted. "Initially I was opening 4 GAGA with a 20 min set. Now I have a half an hour on stage AFTER the opening act. A 'Full Set'!!!"
