Sagittarians truly are the "star" sign. New research shows that people born between November 22 and December 21 are twice as likely to become famous compared to those born under other signs of the zodiac. Researchers analysed the birth dates of 100 celebrities who made it big in their youth and found that nearly one in five are Sagittarians. Britney Spears, Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera are just a few of the 'goats' to have found fame. The second most fame-inclined signs are Virgos, Cancerians, Librans and Aquarians — each makes up nine percent of the celebrities surveyed — while the least likely star sign to go into showbiz is Taurus. That said, child mega-star Shirley Temple was a Taurean. Astrologer Jonathan Cainer says he's not surprised Sagittarians top the list. "Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of hope, and Sagittarians possess 'have-a-go' personalities," he says. "The qualities of that sign bestow a lack of inhibition and natural, exhuberant confidence." Other Sagittarian stars include Vanessa Hudgens, Walt Disney, Steven Spielberg, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner, Bette Midler, Donny Osmond, Bruce Lee, Harpo Marx and Woody Allen. ninemsn
