Christina Aguilera almost lost the lyrics for a new song she is working on, after spontaneously writing down the words while she was dining.
The singer was eating at the Osteria Mozza restaurant in Los Angeles, when she suddenly came up with lyrics to a track for her next album – which she decided to quickly write down on a napkin.
But according to reports, when staff emptied the table following her meal, they took the serviette lyric sheet along with the dirty dishes.
“Christina wasn’t looking when the busboy took the inked-up napkin. When she realised it was missing she ran after him.” A source told the National Enquirer.
“Christina explained to the waiter what had happened and she found the napkin on top of a plate, unharmed.”
Aguilera has been working on her 4th album for the most of 2009 in her home studio. With a working title of ‘Light and Darkness’, the record could be out before the year ends.
