When I read these articles I was very upset. I can't believe a person would go through so much trouble to say such negative horrible things about Lady Gaga. Then as I read it I started thinking a lot of these things kind of match up. I don't know if it's true or not but I hope not. I don't let things like this sway my opinions of people. Until I hear it from her mouth, I won't even consider this! yeah, ive read those too. and i have to agree with you, about the not knowing should we believe or not.
i mean, it really looks like it's true, but i dont want to believe in it.
i hate conspiracy theories.

That's another thing I read. They were saying when she says I'm a gree bitch. She was pretty much saying I won't sale my soul to the devil he can have it for free. and she did go to catholic school, and she thanks God all the time, and wears crosses and stuff, which makes me think she is catholic and religious. they even pray before the shows.

If that stuff is true about her vids I don't think she is aware of it. People suggest a lot of these things to her and she get's excited because it looks really cool but she may not be aware of what it means... |

Honestly I think this person has WAY to much time on their hands and is just creating gibberish. It's all hear say. You can take any thing in the world and put your own spin on it. It's all the way you look at things. Which is what I will do below to prove my point.
Now begins my LONG defensive rant.....
For example talking about how she is willing to sell herself for Fame by being a "sex slave" to the industry in the Bad Romance video. HELLO GAGA IS ALL ABOUT THE OPPOSITE OF FAME!!! That is the true meaning of it all. She says all the time how she doesn't care how famous she is or how rich she is but that she just wants to do what feels right to her and that she just wants to please her fans. That is create art and music that she loves and her fans love. Her being a "sex slave" can be her saying that is how most people view her. As a sexual object. Which is what she wants to break away from and change in the Pop industry. This is true a lot of people who commercialize Pop only care about the sexual image. (which means money) She has said before that she cried in a meeting because they said her Fame cover wasn't sexy enough. She stood up for herself and said that isn't what it is about. In the video the 2 woman are forcing her to do so. This can represent the music industry trying to force her to use her sex appeal to sell. (hm interesting huh?)
She has always been very non-judgemental and never speaks negativly of ANY artist. Even when provoked she has said that she doesn't feel the need to speak badly of people. That they make their music and she makes hers. So how could she "also [want] the “hate” of the artists who are jealous of her." She doesn't care. Jealously is NOT in Gaga's vocab (I don't want to speak for her but it's just obviously to me when I watch her speak) Honestly do you think that Lady Gaga cares what other people think of her? I'm sure she does to a degree but she won't let it get her down. She cares way more about her fans.

You know what I see? Past/Present loves of Gaga's life that only wanted her BECAUSE of her sex and her sexual appeal. Her performing in front of them is a tease to their Egos. The masks could represnt them hiding their true intent. To use Gaga and not to love her. Them bidding on her is showing how far these people will go to be with her just for her looks and not her heart. Thinking they can win anything with money. When the one man won what did he get? Nothing but death by Gaga. Why? Because of his greed and vanity. In a sense she is showing us that she can be provocative and seductive but in the end she is not a whore and doesn't put out. Pretty much she CAN'T BE BOUGHT!! Hello, "can't buy me love". She is a flirt but also a strong woman that says No to any one and obviously doesn't let a lot of people in.
Or look at it this way. They are trying to buy her out, the music industry that is, but she can't be bought. Why? Because her heart wins out. She does what she wants NOT what they want. Ex. Sell records by using her body.
I do not believe the intent of the man burning was a form of "sacrifice". I also believe the change in color of costumes to red shows Gaga's heart. The way they are dancing with Passion and force. Showing that her heart wins out and that it is smart and strong.
Look at the Song Title. It's called Bad Romance. "I don't want to be friends" could be her saying this: How the people have used her and broke her heart. How she fell in love and they didn't. So she doesn't want the heart love but the sexual love. She can't be friends. She just want to, well, fuck and be done with it. She is over her heart being broken so she just wants a good ol' fashion one night stand.
As for the comment on the "eye in triangle" that has been a trade mark Gaga move. It's her way of making a symbol for herself. Lots of people have little quirks that they do. I think it's her way of saying. That she is the winner not the man because she knows better than to put out her heart like that. To a man who is obviously selfish and greedy. To me it's like a "haha" saying or "take that".
The comment on the "sun symbol" with the razor blade glasses. Yes it does look like a sun burst. But hello, think like an artist, a contemporay one. Lines run symetrically and smoothly creating a pleasing image. This is fashion. The over lapping of the blades creates a hole for Gaga to see through. A small hole. Maybe this is a reference to her "sharp" eye for fashion sense and art. Pun intended. See. Look what I am doing.
Any one can do this. You just have to have opinions and a mind set.
I'm going to stop because I could go on forever. I could take everything this person said and flip it around.
All hear say. This to me is Garbage.

What can I say. I have WAY to much Gaga knowledge. I must have over 100 interview videos of hers because I love her for more than her music. For her passion and her art. She truely is amazing to me. Well then I must review these other links because that is all I got off that one from the Bad Romance one haha. Let's see who is the next victim  |

Laying it down.

The VMAs. God where do I begin with this....
OK so the author of the Article quotes Gaga herself talking about the performance and that it is going to show the "grave" side of Fame. This to me is exactly as she has said before. That "The Fame" actually isn't all it is cracked up to be. That it can kill someone, literally, physically emotionally and mentally with just one little slip in the field. It has NOTHING to do with a blood sacrifice. Seriously?! Take a good look at Paparazzi.
It's about the harshness of "The Fame" and how hard it really is to seperate yourself from the world once you enter into it. Back to the article. The Author explains the set as being a kind of temple for worship. You know what I see? A Big house yes, something that every one aims for when becoming famous what do you see? Actors Actresses Musicians with HUGE homes. Something that to me she is trying to represent as dark and lonely. What does one do with something so elaborate? Again I quote Gaga "I don't care if I have the biggest and best house. I just want the biggest show" See. She explains it right to us. That she doesn't want the flashiness of The Fame but actually wants to use it to spread her music and art to us.
I quote the article:

Now what I see. Gaga is bleeding from the inside out. The Fame has taken over her and is killing her slowly. We don't see this until it is to late. Like with much Famous people, ex Heath Ledger. No one really knew his troubles until it was to late. Then after he was gone every one noticed. When she is hung in the air to me it symbolises a kind of interal suicide. That people know what The Fame will do to them yet they keep going on living "The Fame" life style regardless of their own well being. Until it is to late, how she cries out before being lifter as if to state "what have I done. was this worth my life?"
She begins the performance with these words "admist all of these flashing lights I pray The Fame won't take my life" That right there shows that people understand the risk of becoming Famous and what exactly it can do to you.It's a risk they all take.
As for the comment on her outfit after the performance. Red is the color of love and passion. This out fit is simply that, Fashion. There is no symbolism to it except that it IS art. Art is what ever the viewer sees it as.
Ridiculous.
When she starts bleeding she is singing the line "I'm your biggest fan I'll follow you until you love me" This can symbolize again what people are willing to do to become famous and how sad it can be. That some one is willing to sacrfice so much of themselves for something that is really so fake and un kind.
She cries out as if she needs help but again it is to late and she is left to hang. Her death is being photographed showing the greed of the media and how even in death they feed on The Famous even in their tradgeties. Hense why she applied the blood to her eyes to form tears. To show the sadness in her heart to know that this is what The Fame really is.
This Performance has NOTHING to do with symbolizing a blood sacrifice. But I understand how one can think that. Well because she was bleeding. But then again I digress.
