Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Max Oliver has revealed that his father has disowned him after watching his audition for the show. The Lady GaGa impersonator - who will perform live in tonight's episode - received the news last month when his dad decided to get in touch for the first time in years. The budding star's father is said to have walked out on his family after Oliver, who performs under the name of Maxxie, announced that he was gay at the age of 14. Speaking to The Sun, Max explained: "I haven't been in touch with my dad for seven years and I got an email about three weeks ago. "He said, 'I've just seen your video. I've got to say I'm ashamed. Just to let you know, you've been disowned. I don't want you to be my son anymore. Being gay is your personal life, but being a transvestite is being sick'. "He thinks it's not normal that I'm gay and a transvestite. He said, 'Get in touch with me and I'll take you to see a specialist who will be able to help you'." Additionally, Oliver has not been on speaking terms with his mother since she moved to France six years ago. He said: "She'll only get in touch if she knows money is involved." Digital Spy
