Lady Gaga couldn't avoid the spectacle of a Yankees-Mets game on Friday night in New York City. She did avoid pants, however, just like she did when she visited the Mets at Citifield last week.
Wearing fishnets, a black bra and a pinstriped Yankees jersey, Gaga took to Yankee Stadium for the 4-0 Mets win. She wrote on Twitter earlier that day, "i just kicked my ass in the gym, time to wash it down with an ice cold NY beer" -- a promise she made good on, sipping a cold one at the game, apparently in attendance with friends.
Gaga was less hostile to photographers than at her Mets appearance on June 10, when she had a choice uncouth salute for her admirers.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, grew up in Manhattan. When she visited the Mets, we were unsure which New York sluggers she roots for, but the Yankees jersey may be the decider.
