Mark Ronson has revealed that Lady GaGa inspired him to sing on his new album.
Ronson, who is gearing up for the release of his third studio LP Record Collection, said that he met GaGa in the studio just before the release of her debut single 'Just Dance' and she suggested he took singing lessons.
"When I met her 'Just Dance' was sort of blowing up so it wasn’t too crazy,” he told MTV.
"We were in the studio recording the vocals for the Wale song ‘Chillin'. She was actually the one that told me to take singing lessons - she was like ‘you should try singing, you never know’."
Ronson also insisted that the 'Alejandro' singer deserves "every bit" of her success, recalling a time when she worked into the early hours of the morning.
He explained: "We were leaving the studio at 12.30am and I was ready to go out and get wasted and I was like ‘what are you doing?’ GaGa said ‘I’m just going back to the hotel because I’m designing these perspex boxes that are going to go on my dress'.
"She seemed so at the helm of the ship - it was probably what talking to Madonna in 1982 would have felt like. I think she deserves every bit of the success that she’s had."
Mark Ronson's new LP Record Collection is released in September, preceded by 'Bang Bang Bang' on July 11.

It's so nice to hear when somebody talented and with good ear says good things about Gaga, especially nowadays, when everybody's jealous of others success.
