American Idol season 10 contestant Haley Reinhart brought Lady Gaga to Idol this week with her cover of the pop star’s “You And I,” but next week, we’ll get Gaga in the flesh.
According to a tweet from Idol host Ryan Seacrest, Gaga will be on hand to mentor the remaining four singers. “I only have one word for our mentor on @americanidol next week………. Gaga,” Seacrest wrote.
Gaga will sit in with Jimmy Iovine, head of Gaga’s record label home at Interscope Records and Idol’s resident record exec mentor, and help the Idol wannabes through a Leiber and Stoller theme week.
The only question left to ask is will Gaga help out with the top four’s wardrobe?
The mentoring gig isn’t the last we’ll see of Gaga on Idol. According to Perez Hilton, Gaga will be performing on the season finale later this month.
