I've seen this but the first time I saw it I didn't notice David Bowie's name at the bottom. If this really is official I'm so happy for her. She finally has gotten the chance to work with one of her greatest inspirations, Bowie

Performing in Phoenix, Lady Gaga has blasted high-profile chart toppers who have boycotted Arizona over the state's controversial new immigration laws.
Music industry heavyweights including Kanye West, Rage Against The Machine, and Maroon 5 have protested against the legislation that gives police the power to arrest anyone they suspect may be an illegal immigrant.
But the Bad Romance singer has refused to succumb to peer pressure and took to the stage, slamming those performers who have sought to enforce change via their boycott.
'I got a phone call from a couple of really big rock 'n' rollers, big pop stars, big rappers. They said, 'We'd like you to boycott Arizona because of SB 1070,” Gaga said, The Sun reports.
'And I said, 'Do you really think that us dumb f***ing pop stars are going to collapse the economy of Arizona?'
The performer, who this week racked up 13 Video Music Award nominations, raged: 'I want you to let go of all of your insecurities. I want you to reject any person or anything or any law that has ever made you feel like you don't belong. I will not cancel my show. I will yell and I will scream louder and I will hold you, and we will hold each other, and we will protest this state.'
Gaga added: 'Do not be afraid. Because if it wasn't for all of you immigrants, this country wouldn't have shit. And I mean it. I mean it so deeply in my soul.'

Lady Gaga is joining the chorus of famous gay-rights supporters applauding Wednesday's overturning in California of controversial Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage. The pop star, who always been a vocal supporter of the gay community, has revealed she's so happy about the ruling that it inspired her to write new music.
"At the moments notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING! REJOICE and CELEBRATE gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! SCREAM LOUD AMERICANOS!" she told fans on her Facebook and Twitter.
Several other celebrities publicly cheered on the news that U.S. District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker ruled that the voter-approved ban was unconstitutional.
Gaga, who has always taken a stand against discrimination towards the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, most recently paid homage to them in her music video for "Alejandro." "It is a celebration of my love and appreciation for the gay community, my admiration of their bravery, their love for one another and their courage in their relationships," she told Larry King about the clip that features male dancers in a few homoerotic sequences.
Earlier this year, the singer took a bold stand for high school student Cole Goforth, who was sent home from Greenbrier High School in Tennessee for wearing a T-shirt that read "I Heart Lady Gay Gay."
"Thank u for wearing your T-shirt proud at school, you make me so proud, at the monsterball, you are an inspiration to us all. I love you," Gaga tweeted. "I love you Cole, you just be yourself," she added while on tour in Australia. "You're perfect the way God made you."

In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, gaga pop superstar, Lady Gaga, confessed on several lady troubles she has had in her past life including drug use. While it is known to everybody that the lady sensation had abused cocaine to the point where she had almost gone “completely mental”, she clarified that she only uses cocaine occasionally these days. “And when I say occasional, I mean a couple of times a year,” Lady Gaga said. But she also pointed on to her fans that it is not a necessary stumble block to reach success. She had reached the “rock bottom, and it was enough to send a person over the edge,” said Gaga. After that, the then Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was sent to her 82 year old grandmother in West Virginia. She was encouraged by her grand mom to “pick herself up, go back to New York, and kick some ass.” Lady Gaga was born and is now conquering the world through the radio, TV screens, and concert stages. “I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way. I don’t want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It’s in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster,” she told VF. Lady Gaga also admitted that she’s having a very celibate life these days because of a very peculiar fear for a reason. “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina,” Gaga shared to Vanity Fair in their September issue. VF September issue will hit the newsstand on August 10.

Lady Gaga’s recently launched tour, the Monster Ball, has taken up residence in New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden for the past two evenings (and finishes with a final show on Friday evening!), making finger-claw wielding “little monsters” out of thousands of the city dwellers lucky enough to go. And that includes me! Rawr! As you might imagine, this diva knows how to put on quite the ridiculously entertaining show. Zillions of costume changes! A Glinda the Good Witch dress! An encore of “Bad Romance” featuring a spiraling-out crowd! While I was there, I had the distinct feeling that, during those two hours, nothing else in pop culture really mattered because I—luckily!—was seeing the world’s biggest pop star for the first time at one of the world’s most famous arenas. Anyhoo, thought I might share my top five moments from Gaga’s show—everything from a mechanical monster that ate the star of the show to a fire-spewing mini-dress. Here goes: 1. The Monster. While performing “Paparazzi” the last song of the regular set before her encore of “Bad Romance”—Gags shimmied in front of a stories-tall, homemade-looking monster, complete with flailing tentacles. Bonus: The janky thing, which was set into motion by a legion of people underneath it, eventually ate her! Just gobbled her up! In a word: Stunning. Just too bad it wasn’t during her song, “Monster,” which has correlating lyrics like, “He ate my heart / He ate, ate, ate my heart,” and, you know, is about a monster. Sorta. Regardless, the ridiculous trick worked famously and incited the throngs. 2. Gaga on the Piano. While most of the show was high energy, Gaga slowed it way down when she took to the piano to do her new, unreleased song “You and I,” as well as “Speechless.” And it was truly breathtaking, especially when you consider that she played the keys with her butt for a while, too. (Now, that’s talent!) No, but really, it was one of the only times during the concert where the fans actually sat down—and it wasn’t because they were bored. It more seemed out of respect for her Elton-esque take to the piano. 3. Calling Honey B on the Phone. Just before she rocked out to “Telephone,” Gaga surprised all by placing a call (albeit fake!) to Beyoncé, her Honey B lover from the song’s video. And everyone freaked! Was Beyoncé coming out to sing, too? (She’s often in NYC with Jay-Z, so it wouldn’t have been too big a stretch.) Alas, no, but of course Gaga got the final word in with B, eventually calling her a “shady b—-” before hanging up and going right into the masterful jam by herself. 4. Chatter Between the Songs. Gaga certainly metered out her talking—it all seemed rather orchestrated—but damn if it wasn’t hilarious. One moment she was telling fans that of all the drunk men in her life, she liked her dad the best. A bit later she was giving advice: She’d BS-ed her way through life, and made it to the top! Finally, just before “Boys, Boys, Boys,” Gaga put on a weird little show, as a Dorothy-from-The Wizard of Oz-esque character who couldn’t find the Monster Ball, but the she claimed she knew who’d be able to tell her how to get there: “My New York gay boys!” she shouted. And then she went into “Boys.” The banter: genius. 5. That Fiery Mini-Dress. At one point, Gaga performed while wearing a sparkly mini-dress that featured flames shooting out of three spots: both breasts, and her nether region. No words.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Grammys are doing their best to fix one of the most egregious snubs in recent years.
The group behind the music industry's top honors said on Wednesday it would change the eligibility rules for its coveted best new artist category so that a musician like Lady Gaga is not excluded again.
Even though the chart-topping dance/pop singer was clearly the biggest new artist to emerge on the music scene last year, she was deemed ineligible for consideration because she had been nominated the year before in a different category.
Now, the Recording Academy has decided that a previous nomination -- but not a victory -- will not stand in the way of a best new artist nomination. It's a nod to an increasing trend where an artist releases a debut single long before the first album comes out, or otherwise debuts as the featured artist on someone else's recording.
In Lady Gaga's case, she received a Grammy nomination in the dance category in 2008 for her debut single "Just Dance." Her first album, "The Fame," did not hit the U.S. album chart until later that year, after the eligibility period ended. (The dance Grammy went to Daft Punk.)
She received five Grammy nominations last year, but her exclusion from the best new artist race allowed the Zac Brown Band to take home the statuette.
The academy's statement did not specifically refer to Lady Gaga. The best new artist category often raises eyebrows because of the loose definition of "new." Shelby Lynne won the race in 2001 after winning some mainstream attention with her sixth album. The rules were later changed to exclude contenders who have recorded more than three albums.

That would be great. I love Lily's last album! It was simply AMAZING!!! I wish she wouldn't stop recording. I used to really not like her because she said really horrible things about people I like in the past but she's much nicer now and she has great music!
